WHO IS CICI

Where do I start? My full name is Cithrah Henderson, for all who aren't aware, and I grew up in a very small town right on the border of North and South Carolina called Laurinburg. I was brought up in a christian household with my mother and siblings. I have two older brothers and one older, worrisome sister. I also have a younger brother from my dad's side of the family. I love my family dearly. Church was a huge part of my life growing up. I went everyday, literally. Me and Jesus have known each other for a while. It's not as bad as it sounds, though, I promise. It was really fun and I stayed out of a lot of trouble attending. My best friend to date also went to church with me everyday as her Father was the pastor. The pastor was really involved in our lives and he wanted the best for us all. I think his involvement in our lives and him stretching me past everything that was normal is the reason I'm still rooted in Christ today. I think that having parents who were christian, although not together, really laid a strong foundation for me in the Lord. Whether I was visiting my Father or at home with my Mother, I knew I was going to church on Sunday. My dad is also a pastor and has been for the majority of my life. The name of the church is called Xcel Fellowship and it is everything to me. If it were not for that church and my Dad, there would be no 316. Moving along, I went to North Carolina Central University in the fall of 2008 where I studied both English and Political Science. I earned my Bachelor's degree in them both. I also attended graduate school there where I became a master of English. I love to learn. I love to talk. I love to analyze situations. I love to sing. I know that I am a writer. It's a talent given to me by God. However, I know that there is a greater purpose that the Lord, Jesus Christ, has for me before I leave this earth and I want to walk it out with all of you.
